Description
Originally The Alex Brown & Sons bank building on Calvert Street in Baltimore was built in 1901. The dome is credited to Gustave Baumstark who studied with Louis C Tiffany. The building is listed on The National Register of Historic Buildings. It became The Alexander Brown Restaurant operated by a descendant of the original founder. Sadly they closed due to the lock down and is for sale again. This is in the top ten of my favorite images.
